the bike study

My art photogrpahy professor told me take one object, study all the angles and shapes and colors and then take 50+ pictures of that one object in black and white. Well my camera doesn't take pictures in black and white, so I had to do it in photoshop. I decided that my object would be Eric's new bike. Here are the pictures..

This is really cool! But now my bike is feeling left out...he wants to schedule a portrait session. What's the going rate for bicycle portraiture?

I ditto Jules! I can't wait to see how the German pics come out. What was that camera called? --Nugant or something?

I'm a little late posting on this one, but I haven't really been checking blogs lately. As always, I enjoyed your work. Some of the angles on the bike are really cool, some even taking the subject beyond itself (I hope that makes sense). I also read the post about Eric and your family pooling together to get you a computer, which was an awesome gesture. I look forward to seeing some more of your work.
